DALLAS, Texas – UNT Dallas cross country announced its 2024 season with four regular season competitions leading up to the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship in Bethany, Oklahoma. The Trailblazers open the campaign on September 7 at the UT Tyler Cross Country Open.
The next two competitions will be held locally in the Dallas Fort Worth area, as the Trailblazers compete on Sept. 14 at University of Dallas/911 Invitational in Irving, Texas. Their next race will be at the start of October on the fifth at DBU Old Glory Gallup in Grand Prairie, Texas.
UNT Dallas follows that race at the West Side Classic, which will be hosted by NAIA Our Lady of the Lake University on Oct. 12.
The Trailblazers will compete at the SAC Championship on November 9. The NAIA National Championship is slated for Nov. 17 in Vancouver, Washington.
UNT Dallas will be
led by interim head coach Knashia Dawson.
