Box Score As a warm-up for Thursday's historic Sooner Athletic Conference date against University of Science & Art Oklahoma, it couldn't have gone much better.

And the newcomer Trailblazers even took the Kingdom Academy court Tuesday (Nov. 16) against Dallas Christian College with a new mantra. Before pre-game warmups, Coach Josh Howard passed out pullovers to team members with three team guidelines printed on the back:  Stay Hungry... Stay Focus... Stay Humble.

Only the third might have been a little difficult in the hosts' 63-43 victory over the Crusaders.
It wasn't really that close.

Displaying an energized and aggressive defense, UNTD quickly raced out to a double-digit lead and never looked back, even during the second half when Howard began substituting freely. It held the struggling visitors to lengthy periods without scoring, rebounded at will, and looked in every respect ready to enter conference play.

So dominating were the Trailblazers that they led 40-16 by intermission. Only a brief late game scoring flurry by Dallas Christian against a parade of substitutes closed the gap to 20 at game's end.

The Trailblazers will host USAO at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in the second game of a doubleheader. The unbeaten UNTD women play at 5 p.m. and the men's game is at 7.
