During his freshman and sophomore years at Lamar State Port Arthur 2019-2022. Burney appeared in 84 games, starting 60, averaging 12.7 points/game, shooting 36.1% from the field.Â
HIGH SCHOOL:
Was First-Team All-District 8-6A as a senior at Skyline. Sixth-man for first team in school history to reach the UIL State Basketball tournament as a sophomore in 2017. The Raiders went 34-2 that season, winning District 9-6A and advancing through five playoff rounds to reach the state tourney in San Antonio.
