AT UNTD:
As a freshman in 2025-26, Dreyon Thornton played alongside his brother Damaryon Thornton for the first time at UNT Dallas. Thornton appeared in 26 games and made 16 starts. The point guard averaged 22.5 minutes and 5.1 points. Thornton totaled 132 points, 61 rebounds, 52 assists, 24 steals, and two blocks. Thornton eclipsed double figures in six games. He had 11 points, including eight in an overtime win to begin RRAC play at home versus Southwest (11/22/25). Scored a personal-best 13 points at Xavier (La.) (1/31/26).
