McPherson, KS- The UNTD women's basketball secures their first Sooner Athletic Conference win with a 80-70 victory over Central Christian. The Trailblazers led from the tip behind the performance of
ZyUnn Cormier and her game leading 34 points. The senior from Duncanville, HS also had 7 rebounds and 2 steals.
De'Asia Johnson was the next leading scorer with 12 points. UNTD as a team shot 47% from the field behind a season high 11 3-pointers. The Trailblazers out rebounded the Tigers 52-37 and steals 11-5.
For Central Christian, Olivia Bell and Kylee Jones led with 15 and 16 points respectively. The Tigers, 4-5 on the year, shot 34% from the field.
The Trailblazers are back on the road on Monday, December 11th as they head to Oklahoma to take on the Lions of Langston University.
