STORY SO FAR
- The Trailblazers have been busy the past two weeks, splitting a pair of non-conference affairs with Dallas Christian College and Wiley University.
- UNTD spent last week drawing a pair of exhibitions with NCAA Division I UT Arlington and NCAA Division II Southern Nazarene University.
- The team picked up a 76-68 victory over Wiley at Ellis Davis Field House to get UNTD into the win column.
- The Trailblazers had a scheduled game on Wednesday at Paul Quinn University, but had to reschedule it to Monday, November 17, due to officials not being available.
 
PLAYERS TO WATCH
- Greg Crawford (Houston, Texas) has picked up where he left off leading the team with 50 points in two games. Crawford is doing most of his damage at the free throw line with a 16.0 average.
- DaRyan Williams (Austin, Texas) had a big game against the Wildcats, with 18 points and nine boards. Williams leads the team in blocks (4) and tied for the team-lead in steals with four.
- JT Curry (Baton Rouge, La.) scored 11 of his 12 points in the second half against Wiley. He also has four steals to match the team-lead.
- Another returner from last season is Demaryon Thornton (Chicago, Ill.), who will spend his fourth year on the squad. The elder statesman with his debut on UNTD during 2021-22, Thornton played 14 games the second half of last year and made 21 three-pointers and tallied 98 points and 39 rebounds. Thornton ended the season making at least three trifectas in the last four contests.
- Dreyon Thornton (Chicago, Ill.) will make it a family affair this season, as he joins his brother on the team for the first time. Sedric Curry Jr. (Baton Rouge, La.) gives UNTD a pair of brothers on the same squad.

A LOOK AT THE RAMS
- Huston-Tillotson enters with a 3-2 record on the season and are 2-1 at home.
- The Rams are coming off a victory against Texas A&M-San Antonio, 91-86, last Tuesday. Other victories have come to Biblical Studies (86-68) and Jarvis Christian (68-59), while the two setbacks were to Dallas Christian and a second meeting at Jarvis Christian.
- The win at Texas A&M-San Antonio required a 13-point second half rally and then squeaking the triumph out in overtime. Braelon Seals had a remarkable performance with 37 points and 10-of-16 from the field, 7-of-11 from three, and 10-of-13 at the free throw line.
- Shannon Robinson is the team's top scorer with 65 points and averaging 13.0 through five games.
