DALLAS – UNT Dallas athletics begins its seventh year and sixth as a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The Trailblazers have featured many unique student-athletes over the years, and we are recognizing their success in the UNT Dallas Trailblazers Spotlight series.
 
Jules Moor (2022-23) spent one season with the Trailblazers men's basketball team and was a game-changing performer for the program and remains one of the leaders in overall production over six seasons despite playing 25 games.
 
A native of Houston, Texas, Moor averaged 17.7 points for the Trailblazers to lead the scoring that season. Moor's scoring average remains the season and career record mark for the men's basketball team. In 2022-23, Moor ranked fifth in the Sooner Athletic Conference for that same category.
 
Moor also continues to hold single-game records for made field goals with 12 and points in a single game with 32.
 
Moor earned All-SAC First Team and until this past season was the lone member of the men's basketball program to be honored first team all-conference. (Greg Crawford was on All-RRAC First Team). In addition, Moor received SAC Player of the Week once for play during December 5-11. It was the first time a player from UNTD had received the conference accolade since joining the SAC in 2021-22. Moor achieved this honor after his record-setting scoring feat of 32 points mentioned earlier had occurred when the team toppled Oklahoma City, 86-80, on the road. He also grabbed 15 rebounds in that contest.
 
For the campaign, Moor totaled 442 points, 205 rebounds (8.2 per game), 42 assists, and 39 steals. He surpassed double figures in points 22 times and claimed eight double-doubles. Until Greg Crawford arrived in 2024-25, Moor held the incredible scoring and rebounding numbers for the program. His dynamic athleticism also poised Moor as a threat to takeover the game in a given moment, especially with his quick fastbreak ability and way to finish emphatic dunks.
