DALLAS – University of North Texas at Dallas men's basketball closes the 2025 calendar year with  a difficult road trip that will feature two top three Red River Athletic Conference teams and a top 25 nationally ranked foe. The Trailblazers are at Texas A&M-Texarkana on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and then No. 25 LSU-Shreveport on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
- UNT Dallas snapped a three-game slide with a 69-61 victory over North American.
- The Trailblazers overcame a five-point halftime deficit and rallied behind 44 points in the second half. They closed the last four minutes on a 14-6 run to pick up a much-needed triumph.
- Greg Crawford (Houston, Texas) scored a game-high 22 points and has scored at least 20 points in six contests.
- Demaryon Thornton (Chicago, Ill.) had 13 points, while DaRyan Williams (Austin, Texas) and Sedric Curry, Jr. (Baton Rouge, La.) had 11 points each.

- Crawford is also getting it done on the glass, averaging 9.6 rebounds per contest, which ranks fourth.
- Williams is also averaging double figures with 10.7 points. He holds the team lead with 12 blocks and has been a key contributor with 68 boards, 14 assists, and nine steals.
- Thornton wraps up the top three scorers with 82 points (9.1 ppg).

- Texas A&M-Texarkana enters with a 6-3 record and 4-1 conference record.
- The Eagles are soaring high with five straight wins.
- They defeated Louisiana Christian and LSU-Alexandria (overtime) last week.
- Deovaunta Williams led the offense with 30 points and swiped five steals.
- Williams averages 19.1 points, while Jarren Cook (15.8 ppg) and Jyrin Sowell (10.4) are other scoring threats.
-Texas A&M-Texarkana was picked fifth in the RRAC Preseason Poll with 91 points.

- LSU-Shreveport boasts an 8-3 record and is 5-0 in the RRAC.
- No. 25 LSUS is on a five-game winning streak.
- The Pilots dispatched LSUA and Louisiana Christian last week.
- They picked up a non-conference win, 84-88, last Monday in Waxahachie, Texas. They overcame a 10-point halftime deficit.
- Hayden Brittingham led LSUS with 24 points and 15 boards.
- Khi Wallace leads the offense with 18.5 points-per-game. Brittingham is right behind with 17.2, and Emareyon McDonald averages a 15.3-clip. Thaddeus Johnson wraps up a quartet averaging double figures on this lethal offense with 11.3 points.
- The Pilots were selected third in the RRAC Preseason Poll with 105 points and one first place tally.

- The Trailblazers visited Shreveport on November 21, 2023 in a non-conference matchup that year. LSUS won, 95-80, after a 57-44 second half. The current roster did not play in that meeting.
