TURNING THE PAGE
- The Trailblazers opened the 2026 calendar year on a winning note with two double-digit victories but were short on what would have been their greatest comeback of the campaign on Saturday to Jarvis Christian, falling, 58-56.
- UNT Dallas (5-9, 4-6 RRAC) erased a 16-point deficit in the second half and rallied down 11 in the final four minutes to grab a one-point lead with less than 30 seconds left. It was a tremendous effort to comeback despite a stalled offense shooting below 30 percent most of the game.
 
TRAILBLAZER TIDBITS
- Greg Crawford (Houston, Texas) added his name to the UNTD men's basketball record books with an all-time high 23 rebounds against Texas College.
- Crawford is averaging 17.1 points and 9.8 rebounds to rank in the top five in the Red River Athletic Conference.
- DaRyan Williams (Austin, Texas) is second on the team in scoring (154 pts.) and rebounds (110).
- Demaryon Thornton (Chicago, Ill.) rounds out the top three in scoring with 128 points and has nailed 20 three-pointers to lead the group.

- The Wildcats are 3-12 overall and 2-7 in RRAC.
- They are 0-7 at home and fell last time to Our Lady of the Lake, 79-64.
- LCU did pick up a two-point win (78-76) at Texas A&M-San Antonio last week to start that two-game swing.
- A trio of players average above 12 points: Chad Jones (12.8), Justice Kelly (12.7), and Bryce Weinmunson (12.3).
- Louisiana Christian was selected sixth in the RRAC Preseason Poll with 67 points.

- The Generals are 10-6 overall and 7-3 in conference play.
- LSUA had a midweek game against Xavier University with a 69-63 victory to give the team two wins in a row.
- The Generals have won five-of-six games and their lone loss was by two points.

- Keep an eye on EJ McQuillan with a league-leading 22.2 points-per-game. Jordan Decuir is second with 15.4 points-per-game.
- TJ James averages 7.4 rebounds per contest.  
- LSUA earned preseason favorite prediction in the RRAC Poll with 128 points and nine first-place tallies.
