RRAC Player of the Week Release

WACO, Texas – Graduate Student Greg Crawford (Houston, Texas) was named Red River Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Offensive player of the Week for contests played from January 19-26. This is the second consecutive week Crawford has earned a weekly conference award, taking Defensive Player of the Week a week ago. This is his third all-time conference player of the week accolade, having won Sooner Athletic Conference Player of the Week (12/9/24) last season. Crawford becomes the all-time leader with the Trailblazers to earn a weekly conference award with this being his third.

Crawford logged 24 points to lead all players in a dramatic 72-67 victory over Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) last week for the Trailblazers. Down 15 points midway through the first half, Crawford helped the Trailblazers engineer their largest comeback win of the campaign and scored his highest point total in an RRAC game. Crawford accounted for 15 points in the second half and was 9-for-11 at the free-throw line. He added eight rebounds, three assists, and a steal. On the season, Crawford ranks third in the league with 17.2 points/game, and he has totaled 785 points with the Trailblazers in less than two seasons.

Crawford leads UNTD this season with 292 points for 17.2 points/game, 76 field goals, 136 free throws, 176 rebounds, 40 assists, and 19 steals. Crawford has accumulated 785 points in the midst of his second season with the Trailblazers.
