As a senior in 2024-25, Johnson appeared in 28 games and made 26 starts, while averaging 34.1 minutes. Johnson tallied 282 points (2nd on the team) and averaged 10.1 points-per-game. Johnson was lethal on steals with a 2.1 clip that ranked 26th in NAIA and led the SAC. His 58 steals set a single-season record were a personal best in a season to help Johnson establish the all-time mark with 203. Johnson accumulated 282 points to cap his career with 1,264 points, as the guard became the first in the program to achieve 1,000 career points. He notched this feat in the Trailblazers’ home opener against Jarvis Christian (11/2/24). Johnson also totaled 116 rebounds, 79 assists, and 10 blocks. Johnson leaves a legacy with the program as the first student-athlete to complete his academic career with the program and began during the inaugural season. Johnson set many records and will end his slate with 1,264 points, 630 rebounds, 237 assists, 203 steals, and 28 blocks.
As a junior in 2023-24, Johnson appeared in 25 games, starting 25, averaging a team-high 13.36 points/game, shooting 53.0% from the field and averaging a team-best 6.44 rebounds/game. Led the team with 52 steals.
As a sophomore in 2022-23, Johnson appeared in 23 games, starting 21, averaging 11.7 points/game and shooting 48.8% from the field.
As a freshman in 2021-2022, Johnson appeared in 30 games, starting all 30, averaging 12.2 points/game, shooting 51.4% from the field and averaging 7 rebounds/game.
HIGH SCHOOL:
At Life High School Waxahachie, Johnson was a multi-letter winner in basketball and named All-Ellis County All-Star player of the year in 2019-20.
