OPENING TIP
- UNT Dallas finishes a three-game road stint on Saturday, with a trip to Oklahoma. The contest will be played against Southwestern Christian at Redlands Community College.
- The Trailblazers play their final regular season away contests and look to build on an 8-7 road record  
- The Trailblazers enter with an 11-13 record and 8-13 Sooner Athletic Conference mark.
- They dropped a heartbreaking 87-82 overtime game after coming back down 16 at halftime against Central Christian. The loss helped the Tigers solidify the seventh-place spot in the SAC. UNTD is half a game behind Oklahoma Panhandle State for the final tournament spot but will need to finish ahead due to tiebreaker scenarios.  
 
PLAYERS TO WATCH/TEAM NOTES
- Junior Greg Crawford (Houston, Texas) leads the team with 428 points and is averaging 17.8 points-per-game. Both totals rank fifth in the SAC.
- - Crawford continues his stranglehold lead on rebounds and rebounding average with 232 and 9.7. His total boards on the season have broken the program's single-season record (209 by Vernon Johnson in 2021-22 was previous best).
- Senior Ashton Howard (Cedar Hill, Texas) remains atop the league and team in total blocks with 48 and averages 2.5 blocks per contest, even after missing the first two games of the road trip. Howard also has set a new single-season record in that category.
- Senior Vernon Johnson (DeSoto, Texas) leads the conference in total steals with 42 and is tied at the top by averaging 1.8 a game. Johnson is second on the team in total scoring with 238 points and averages a 9.9-clip.
- Junior Daniel Sohn (Aledo, Texas) is third on the team in scoring with 216 points and averages 9.8 a game.
- Senior Jayden Johnson-Blair (Dallas, Texas) ranks second in the conference for assists with 113 and averages 4.7 per contest. He holds the single-season assists record this year and is the first to eclipse triple-digits in a season for dimes.
- - Johnson-Blair has played the entirety of seven contests this year, which includes the past four games. The latest was 45 minutes with an extra period at Central Christian.

A LOOK AT THE EAGLES
- Southwestern Christian enters with a 4-20 record and 2-19 conference mark.
- The Eagles fell 59-57 at Oklahoma Panhandle State in overtime last Saturday.
- SCU has dropped 13 in a row and is seeking its first win in 2025.
- Two players have eclipsed 300 points for the Eagles, led by Deondre Dunn with 394 and he is averaging 17.7 points to rank sixth in the league. Michal Wooldridge has 303 points and a 13.2 scoring average.
- - The tandem also leads the battle on the boards with Wooldridge soaring for 169 (7.3) and Dunn with 126 (5.5).

- The Trailblazers earned a 75-64 victory at Ellis Davis Field House to start 2025.
- They enjoyed a 40-22 halftime lead to secure the triumph.
- Crawford notched a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds to lead all players in both columns.
- Sohn contributed 19 points, while Johnson-Blair rounded out the trio of double-digit UNTD scorers with 10 and dished eight assists.
- Wooldridge led the Eagles with 18 points and garnered a double-double with 11 boards.
- Dunn followed with 16 points, and Rob Gambill chipped in 12.
