SCHEDULE SHUFFLE
- UNT Dallas men's basketball returns to Ellis Davis Field House for final two regular season games.
- Inclement weather in the Midwest affected traveling for UNTD's opponents, so the original Thursday date was moved to a Monday. The order of oppositions remains the same, with the other team being at Nelson during this trip.
- The Trailblazers will play College of the Ozarks on Saturday around 4:00 p.m., while ending the season with John Brown on Monday at a time to be determined.
 
TOURNAMENT OUTLOOK
- UNT Dallas has one scenario to clinch the eighth and final seed of the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship tournament. The team is currently in ninth with an 8-14 record. The team is 11-14 overall.
- The Trailblazers must win both of their games and need Mid-America Christian to defeat Oklahoma Panhandle State on Saturday to secure their first tournament berth since 2021-22. Oklahoma Panhandle State holds the tiebreaker.
- Science and Arts entered the final week tied with UNTD in the standings. The Trailblazers hold that tiebreaker if they tied. A three-way tie between the trio would go to Oklahoma Panhandle State.
 
BACKCOURT TANDEM TO BE RECOGNIZED
- On Saturday, the UNT Dallas men's basketball program plans to honor graduating seniors Vernon Johnson (DeSoto, Texas) and Jayden Johnson-Blair (Dallas, Texas).
- The duo are the only players to see more than 800 minutes on the court this season.
 
CONFERENCE LEADERBOARD/PLAYER NOTES
- Junior Greg Crawford (Houston, Texas) leads the team with 445 points and ranks fifth in the league with 17.8 points-per-game. He is also atop the team and conference with 243 rebounds, and 9.7 rebounds per contest.  
- Senior Vernon Johnson (DeSoto, Texas) is first in the SAC in steals with 45.
- Senior Ashton Howard (Cedar Hill, Texas) continues to lead the conference with his program record 49 blocks.
- Johnson-Blair leads the team in assists with 118, which sets the new season record. He also is the career leader in assists with 235 assists.
- Senior Demaryon Thornton (Chicago, Ill.) has combined for seven made three-pointers with at least three in the past two contests. He has a combined for 26 points.

- College of the Ozarks enters with a 9-16 record and 7-15 conference record.
- The Bobcats fell 73-61 last Monday to Wayland Baptist.
- They edged Oklahoma Panhandle State last Saturday for their first win in the past five games.

- Garrett Snyder leads the team in scoring with 392 points, while Andrew Dalton has 376.

- John Brown enters with an 18-8 record and 16-6 conference mark.
- The Golden Eagles are riding a five-game winning streak.
- They edged Wayland Baptist, 75-72, in overtime last Saturday.
- JBU is 6-5 in away games this season.
- Drew Miller leads the team with 424 points and is averaging 16.3.
- Trae Oetting is another prominent scorer with 13.9 points-per-game.
- Miller and Oetting headline the rebounding with 161 and 124, respectively.
- John Brown leads the league in three-point field goal percentage with a 37.1-clip, while leading in the lowest opponent 3-point field goal percentage with a 28.6-clip. The Golden Eagles are second in scoring and assists.

- UNT Dallas dropped a road contest in January with an 82-74 final. The Trailblazers trailed by four at halftime for the second time in as many days on the trip and could not overcome the gap late in the final minutes.
- Sohn had a road trip to remember with 19 points, six rebounds, and five steals to follow his Ozark's performance with another great stat line.
- Crawford matched the high in scoring with 19 points in just as many minutes played.
