OPENING TIP
- UNT Dallas begins a three-game road stretch at No. 18 Langston and Central Christian this week.
- The Trailblazers enter with a 10-12 overall record and are 7-12 in the Sooner Athletic Conference. They are tied for the eighth spot in the league standings with five games to go and some opposing teams also having six left this season.
- UNTD dropped a 59-55 result to Oklahoma Panhandle State last Saturday and are the team that tied them in the standings. OPSU holds the tiebreaker with the season series win, 2-0.
- The Trailblazers are 7-6 on the road this season and have won three-of-five games.
 
TRAILBLAZER NOTES/SAC LEADERS
- Junior Greg Crawford (Houston, Texas) leads the team with 393 points (17.5) and 209 rebounds (9.5). Crawford ranks fourth in SAC in scoring average and sits atop the league in rebounds and rebounding average.
- Senior Vernon Johnson (DeSoto, Texas) is the league leader in steals with 41 and is averaging 1.9 per game.
- Senior Ashton Howard (Cedar Hill, Texas) holds the most blocked shots in the league with 48 and is the only player to eclipse 2.0 per contest with a 2.5-clip.
- Senior Jayden Johnson-Blair (Dallas, Texas) eclipsed the century mark on assists with 104. He is the first player to achieve such a feat in a season.

LANGSTON NOTES
- The Lions enter the week ranked #18 in the latest NAIA Top 25 Poll. They are 17-5 overall and 13-5 in conference play.
-  After enduring a three-game losing streak near the end of January, the Lions rebounded with two home wins last week against Central Christian (73-64) and Oklahoma City (82-70).
- The team averages 70.0 points-per-game, while holding opponents to 61.8 points-per-game.
- The Lions are 7-1 at their friendly confines.

PREVIOUS MEETING
- UNT Dallas fell to Langston, 74-70, at Ellis Davis Field House in December.
- The Trailblazers led 32-20 at halftime and saw a double-digit lead shrink to an eventual tie at the end of regulation. Langston prevailed in overtime.
- Crawford had his highest scoring game with 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for a double-double. He had all seven UNTD points in overtime.
- Johnson added 17 points.
- Howard and junior Daniel Sohn (Aledo, Texas) each chipped in 10 points.
- Bryce Monroe led the Lions with 23 points.
- Jamison Epps at 12 points, while Joshua Smith added 11 points.

- Central Christian enters with a 13-9 record overall and 9-9 conference mark for the seventh seed.
- The Tigers have won five-of-seven games with both losses to Wayland Baptist and Langston.
- Central Christian defeated Oklahoma City, 77-70, last time out.
- The Tigers are 7-3 at home this season, although UNTD is one of the previous setbacks.
