HOUSTON – University of North Texas at Dallas track and field made its outdoor season debut at the TSU Relays on Friday and Saturday hosted by Texas Southern. The Trailblazers were led by sophomore Devin Page (DeSoto, Texas), as he led a trio to top six finishes in the 800 Meters. Five different athletes for UNTD garnered a top five finish across four events, and the 4x400m relay squad for the men's team shined with a second-place finish, only falling behind host NCAA Division I Texas Southern.
 
Page captured first on the 800m with a time of 1:59.68. Freshman Skylar Evans (Dallas, Texas) was right behind with a time of 2:06.72. Sophomore Ernest Ayanugo (DeSoto, Texas) notched third place in the 200 Meter-Dash with a time of 22.54. Also coming in third in the 400 Meters was freshman Jahaden Jackson (The Colony, Texas) with a time of 51.14. Freshman Santos Vega (Houston, Texas) did well in his hometown, as he competed in two events and secured fifth in the 5,000 Meters with a time of 4:43.82.
 
Evans, Page, Jackson, and freshman Kenya Singletary put together a time of 3:28.78 in the 4x400m relay.
 
On the women's side, a trio of freshmen made their outdoor season debuts, led by Kristian Nichols (Lancaster, Texas) in the 200 Meters-Dash with a time of 27.99. Classmates Jocelyn Owens (Dallas, Texas) ran in the 100 Meter-Dash with a time of 13.48 and Jada Cole (Dallas, Texas) performed in the Shot Put with an 8.78m mark and Discus with a 14.27m mark.
 
Senior Ryleah Fisher (Denton, Texas) started her final campaign out with a pair of seventh place finishes in the Shot Put (10.58m) and Discus (27.97m)
