KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University of North Texas at Dallas men's cross country placed two members of its squad from the 2025 season on the 2025 NAIA Fall Sport Daktronics Scholar-Athletes list. Devin Page (DeSoto, Texas) and Keilond Wright (Paris, Texas) were named from the Trailblazers. It is the first time UNT Dallas has had anyone named from the men's cross country program.

This honor recognizes student-athletes in each of the fall sports who have excelled academically, including football, men's cross country, men's soccer, women's cross country, women's soccer, and women's volleyball.

To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year. This year, the list features 6,486 student-athletes who have met these rigorous standards from the NAIA.

Page is a public health major and boasted a cumulative GPA of 3.8. In three seasons with the Trailblazers, Page has been a steady leader on and off the course for UNTD cross country. The junior ran his fastest 8k with a time of 28:39.9 and finished top 25 at the Red River Athletic Conference Championships. He was part of historic performances where the Trailblazers men's team captured third place at conference.

Wright is a General Business Major with a Marketing Minor. The sophomore has competed in five races for the cross country team in his career with the Trailblazers. Wright ran a personal record 33:35.1 at the Red River Athletic Conference Championships. He was part of historic performances where the men's team captured third place at conference.

Page was also named on Academic All-SAC Team, and SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll. Page will be a five-time member on the UNTD Athletic Director's List and Wright was part of the honorable list in spring 2025.
