NEW ORLEANS – University of North Texas at Dallas men's track and field team concluded the RRAC Track and Field Championships at Tad Gormley Stadium on Saturday.

Bryson Mcrae became the first men's field athlete to win a conference postseason event, as he won the Long Jump with a record-breaking mark of 7.24m. Another highlight on the day was the 4x400m relay qualifying for the NAIA Championships with a ninth-best ranking of 3:13.15 seconds. The time broke a school record and was less than two seconds from a second gold medal. The 4x100m relay, which won gold on Friday, already qualified for nationals entering the weekend and gives the Trailblazers their first-ever qualifiers for NAIA Championships.

It was a historic conference championship on the UNT Dallas men's track and field program, as the program's first two gold medals were claimed. Several program records fell, many personal records and season-best times posted, and a second national qualifier obtained. Competing in its first Red River Athletic Conference Championships, UNT Dallas earned seven all-conference awards, as the top four individuals in each event received all-conference recognition.
