ASHVILLE, N.C. – History was made for University of North Texas at Dallas men's track and field on May 20-21 with the program's first appearance at NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The men's 4x100m Relay and men's 4x400m Relay teams for the Trailblazers qualified and competed, giving the UNTD Athletic program its first national appearance in any sport since the inaugural year 2020-21.

Led by first-year head coach Darvis "Doc" Patton, the Trailblazers represented their institution and program with pride in a major milestone that is part of several strides forward for the overall team this year. It took some time on both days for the events to be completed due to weather delays, but UNT Dallas entered the record books as the first events to compete on the national stage.
