Shreveport, LA-The UNTD men's basketball team fell to #9 Louisiana State University Shreveport in their last NAIA match-up before Sooner Athletic Conference play begins. The Trailblazers held the Pilots to a 2-point lead at halftime, shooting 51% from the field in the first half. UNTD was lead by senior, Tariq Aman, leading the way with 21 points. The senior from Coppell, TX, shot 7-13 from the field and dished out 3 assists. 3 other Trailblazers also hit double figures with Vernon Johnson and Jonathan Joseph each scoring 14 points and Kanntrell Burney adding 12 points. 

The #9 Pilots were lead by Melvion Flanagan and Calvin Carpenter who scored 21 points and 20 points, respectively. Now 4-0 on the season, the Pilots had 5 players in double digits and shot 52% from the field and out shot the Trailblazers at the free throw line 81%-58%.

The 1-2 UNTD men's basketball team begins Sooner Athletic Conference play on November 30th, where they take on the Texas Wesleyan University Rams in Ft. Worth, TX. The women will play at 6:00pm followed by the men at 7:45pm.
