Hawkins, TX-The UNTD Trailblazers traveled to Hawkins, Texas to play the Jarvis Christian University Bulldogs in an NAIA non-conference match-up. In their first loss of the season, 76-75, the Trailblazers and Bulldogs exchanged leads multiple times throughout the game and the stat lines for both teams were very similar. It came down to free throws where the Bulldogs out shot the Trailblazers 71% to 68%.

The Trailblazers were again led by junior, Vernon Johnson, as he topped all scorers with 27. The Desoto, TX native added 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals to his stat line.  Tariq Aman, a senior guard from Coppell, Texas, added 16 points and 4 assists in the Trailblazer effort. As a team, UNTD shot the ball an impressive 66.7% from the field and 52% from behind the arc.

The Bulldogs in their winning effort, were led by Russel, Kirkendoll and Robertson who scored 16, 14 and 12 points respectively. 
 

The UNTD Trailblazers hit the road again on November 6, 2023 as they travel to Louisiana to take on the Grambling State Tigers in an exhibition game.
