McPherson, KS- The UNTD men's basketball loses a heart breaker in the final moments at Central Christian 75-74. Although 4 Trailblazers scored in double digits, it wasn't enough to prevail against the Tigers.
Jonathan Joseph led UNTD with 14 points and 5 rebounds.
Cobe Dillard, 10 points,
Tariq Aman, 12 points, and
Vernon Johnson, 11 points, followed. 3-point shooting plagued the Trailblazers shooting only 20% from behind the arc. The Tigers, on the other hand, shot 36% from 3 hitting 11/30. Throughout this close game, there were several lead changes and UNTD trailing by one at the half. 2 bright spots for the Trailblazers saw its bench outscore CCC's 28-14 and UNTD out rebounded the Tigers 51-33.
For CCC, 3 Tigers were in double digits led by Chris Whitten with 22 points.
The UNTD men's basketball team heads back out on the road on December 11th for another tough Sooner Athletic Conference match-up as the Trailblazers take on the #3 ranked Langston Lions.
