- The Trailblazers are 2-0 for the first time in program history. UNTD edged Dallas Christian College in their only countable road outing this season, 80-75.
- Junior Greg Crawford (Houston, Texas) was the only Trailblazer in double figures with 14 points in Monday's exhibition against NCAA Division I UT Arlington.
- The young campaign has Crawford and senior Darion Jones (Austin, Texas) with 32 points each.
- Senior Ashton Howard (Cedar Hill, Texas) joins Crawford and Jones to form a trio that has posted double-digit scoring outings in both wins.
- Senior Vernon Johnson eclipsed 1,000 points for his career last Saturday.
 
ABOUT THE COMETS AND HISTORY

- UT Dallas is transitioning to NCAA Division II and is finishing its final season with the American Southwest Conference. The Comets won the ASC Men's Basketball Championship in 2023-24.
