KEY STORYLINES
- UNT Dallas returns home for third game of season. The Trailblazers are 1-1 at Ellis Davis this season, falling by two points in their lone conference matchup.
- UNTD enters with a 5-4 record and 2-4 record in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
- The Trailblazers went 2-2 on their recent road trip that included their first conference wins of the season. They bookend a pair of difficult loses with double-digit comeback wins with the latest a 71-64 final at Science and Arts.  
- Senior Ashton Howard (Cedar Hill, Texas) collected SAC Defensive Player of the Week and is a player to watch with 73 points and 30 rebounds to go with a conference-leading 17 blocks.
- Junior Greg Crawford (Houston, Texas) leads the Trailblazers with 17.2 points-per-game and 9.6 rebounds-per-game. His scoring total cracks the top 10 in the league and he scored his conference-high 22 points in the team's latest game.
- Crawford has six double-doubles on the season with five in conference play.  
- Langston entered the preseason poll with the top place with 142 points and 12 first place votes.
- The Lions were NAIA Runners-Up last season and are No. 1 in the nation throughout the first two rankings. They moved to No. 11 and have a 6-2 record and 3-2 conference mark. Langston recently edged Mid-America Christian, 65-61, at home.
- Langston dropped its matchups to Wayland Baptist and No. 19 Oklahoma City in away games.

- UNT Dallas will play its fifth away game out of the last six when it heads up for one-of-two games at Central Christian this season.
- Central Christian finished in 13th in the conference preseason with 18 points.  
- The Tigers are 2-8 on the season and 0-6 in conference play. Both wins on the season have been at home for a 2-5 mark.
- The Tigers fell 69-63 to Southwestern Christian last Saturday.
 
HISTORY
- UNT Dallas is 4-2 all-time against Central Christian.  
- Previous meeting: UNT Dallas fell 103-98 in double overtime at home. Johnson had 14 points, while senior Jayden Johnson-Blair (Dallas, Texas) tossed in 10 points. The tandem had five assists each, as the team posted 19.    
- Johnson added an 11-point, nine-rebound game at McPherson last December, as Central Christian held onto a single-point halftime lead for the 75-74 victory.
