DALLAS – University of North Texas at Dallas women's basketball announced its 2025-26 season. Under the direction of Head Coach Otis Nicksion, the Trailblazers are eager to embark on a new campaign as a first-year member of the Red River Athletic Conference. With a docket that features 24 regular season games, 22 will be opposed by the Trailblazers' new conference teams with a goal of reaching the league tournament in late February.
 
UNT Dallas will also travel to a few NCAA Division I and II teams for Exhibition contests. This includes consecutive years with trips to Commerce, Texas, to play East Texas A&M University (November 3) and Texas State University (December 10). The Trailblazers also travel to Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls (November 16).  

Home contests are slated to return to Ellis Davis Field House for the second straight year. Most games will be at that location with occassional games at other disclosed locations at a sooner time to the scheduled date. Latest updates will be available on untdallasathletics.com. 
 
The season tips off on November 1 at home versus University of Science and Arts for Homecoming. After an exhibition matchup, the Trailblazers will be at Paul Quinn College on November 12 for a local matchup 10 minutes apart from the campuses. Another exhibition at Midwestern State University occurs before the month finishes with the RRAC opener at home against University of the Southwest.
 
December begins with a pair of road games at Texas A&M-San Antonio (Dec. 4) and Our Lady of the Lake University (Dec. 6), before a final exhibition at Texas State University. The Trailblazers host two RRAC games with Xavier University of Louisiana (Dec. 11) and North American University (Dec. 13). They wrap up 2025 portion of the schedule with two league road games at Texas A&M-Texarkana and LSU-Shreveport on Dec. 18 and 20, respectively.
 
The 2026 ledger contains all RRAC games with the action beginning January 3 at University of the Southwest for the second meeting. Texas College (Jan. 8), Jarvis Christian (Jan. 10), Our Lady of the Lake University (Jan. 22), and Texas A&M-San Antonio (Jan. 24) will play UNTD in the DFW Metroplex.
 
The Trailblazers also will spend that month in Louisiana with a pair of contests at Louisiana Christian University (Jan. 15) and LSU-Alexandria (Jan. 17). The final day of the month will also have UNT Dallas in the Pelican State at Xavier University of Louisiana to wrap up a second matchup between the conference foe. The first part of that road swing will be at North American (Jan. 29).
 
LSU-Shreveport and Texas A&M-Texarkana begin February with home matchups on the 5th and 7th, respectively. After away games the following week at Texas College (Feb. 12) and Jarvis Christian (Feb. 14), the Trailblazers host LSU-Alexandria (Feb. 19) and Louisiana Christian (Feb. 21), which slated to be Senior Day.
