OKLAHOMA CITY – University of North Texas at Dallas track and field had three student-athletes named this week's Sooner Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for their efforts this past week, announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
 
Sophomore Devin Page (DeSoto, Texas) was named men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, while freshman Kristian Nichols (Lancaster, Texas) and senior Ryleah Fisher (Denton, Texas) were tabbed women's Outdoor Track Athlete and women's Outdoor Field Athlete, respectively. It is the first time this trio has been awarded SAC weekly honors and the first from the Trailblazers.
 
Page captured first place in the 800 Meters with a time of 1:59.68 at the TSU Relays. He also contributed to a second-place finish in the 4x400m relay, as the Trailblazers claimed second place with a time of 3:28.78 and only were behind NCAA Division I Texas Southern.
 
Nichols made her collegiate debut in the Outdoor season and led UNT-Dallas' efforts at the TSU Relays with a sixth-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.99 in the event that featured many NCAA Division I athletes.
 
Fisher opened her outdoor season with a pair of seventh-place finishes in the throws at the TSU Relays. She claimed seventh on both the Shot Put and Discus with 10.58m and 27.97m respective marks.
