DALLAS – Freshmen Jada Cole and Jocelyn Owens were recently highlighted by the University of North Texas at Dallas campus for their competitive nature both academically and athletically. The duo attended Lincoln High School in Dallas, and both applied for a scholarship offered by Northern Texas PGA (Professional Golfers' Association), also funded by Deloitte and United Way.

Each year, the organization awards scholarships to outstanding and deserving students at its four Dallas ISD partner High Schools, which Lincoln is one of the quartet. Cole and Owens were selected for the scholarship, which helped keep them united as Trailblazers this year.
