DALLAS – University of North Texas at Dallas women's basketball returns home for a pair of Red River Athletic Conference games at Trinity Leadership this week. The Trailblazers host Texas College on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and Jarvis Christian University on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

- The Trailblazers will play their remaining home games for 2025-26 at Trinity Leadership Public School. Fans will also be able to purchase tickets in advance or at the door to see the Trailblazers in action.

- UNT Dallas (5-5, 4-4 RRAC) began 2026 with its largest margin of victory and a season-high 80 points en route to a season sweep against University of the Southwest.
- De'Asia Johnson (Dallas, Texas) led the big scoring effort with 19 points, shooting 8-of-11 from the floor and 3-of-5 from three-point territory.
- ShanDrea Yeldell (Dallas, Texas) contributed 13 points with a game-high five assists.
- Kaylyn Minor (Garland, Texas) registered season-highs in points with 13 and rebounds with 11, as she notched her first double-double since 2022-23.

- Johnson enters the week with her highest ranking in the RRAC for points-per-game with a 15.1-clip. Johnson remains in the top five for multiple conference categories with 8.6 rebounds-per-game (fourth).
- Yeldell also has entered the top five in multiple-state categories with 36 steals and 47 assists.
- UNT Dallas clinched several season-bests as a team to start 2026 against Southwest. This includes: points (86), field goals (35), rebounds (59), and assists (21).
- Jade Myles (Dallas, Texas) is averaging 11.7 points on the season and wraps up the top three Trailblazers in scoring behind Johnson and Yeldell (11.9).
- Channing Beauvais (Paradise, Texas) has scored double figures in three-of-four games and four times on the year.

SCOUTING THE STEERS
- Texas College enters with a 7-7 record and 5-3 record in conference play.
- The Steers defeated Jarvis Christian last Saturday at home by a score of 67-56.
- The Steers are winners of four-of-five games including a two-point win against second place Texas A&M-San Antonio, which started this latest run.
- Watch out for Fae Green (14.9 ppg) and Rakia Lee (13.2) for the Steers leading scorers.
- Texas College was selected 11th in the RRAC Preseason Poll with 38 points.

- The Bulldogs were edged at Texas College to open 2026. They topped Our Lady of the Lake (62-58, OT) and Louisiana Christian (66-59, OT) at home for their league victories.  
- Jarvis Christian is led by Jacy Reese (12.2 ppg), Carmela Hayden (10.0), and Shamya Champ (9.8).
- JCU is at University of the Southwest on Thursday before embarking through Dallas over the weekend.
