WACO, Texas – University of North Texas at Dallas women's basketball had a trio of players named to the 2025-26 Red River Athletic Conference Team and postseason award-winners as voted by the conference's head coaches.

Junior forward De'Asia Johnson (Dallas, Texas) headlined the Trailblazers recipients with a First Team All-Conference selection. She is the first member of the program to be named on First Team of a conference and earns the first of her career to be tabbed with any all-conference accolade.

Senior point guard ShanDrea Yeldell (Dallas, Texas) was named to Second Team All-Conference, while Channing Beauvais (Paradise, Texas) was selected with an Honorable Mention.

UNT Dallas women's basketball placed its highest total of all-conference selections in its first season with the RRAC.

Freshman guard Sophia Fisher (Taylor, Texas) was UNTD's representative on the All-Champions of Character Team.

Johnson led the team this season with 16.2 points-per-game and 7.8 rebounds-per-game, which ranks within the top five in the RRAC for both categories. Johnson also has accumulated 74 steals, 58 assists, and 11 blocks. She has dropped 41 three-pointers. Johnsons all-around performance on both sides of the ball proved to be lethal with her best season of her three-year career. Johnson recorded six double-doubles, which included a personal-best 28 points and 10 rebounds at Louisiana Christian. Johnson eclipsed 300 career boards and is the all-time record holder in the program. Johnson was a two-time RRAC Player of the Week this season.

Yeldell averaged 10.6 points and was a top performer on the team and in the league for assists and steals. The senior currently ranks first in the RRAC with 121 assists on games played through the Quarterfinals of the RRAC Women's Basketball tournament. Yeldell is second in the conference for steals with 108. Yeldell broke the single-game record for steals in a game with 11 (Texas College on 1/8/26) and tied the program mark for assists in a game with nine (at Jarvis Christian on 2/12/26). Yeldell netted a career-high 30 points and became just the third player in the program to eclipse that point total in a single game. Yeldell did receive RRAC Player of the Week this season.

Beauvais contributed for the Trailblazers in several roles during her first season with the team. The freshman was a postgame threat that had a good shooters touch that defenders had to respect. Beauvais scored a personal-high 13 points against LSU-Alexandria (2/19/26), which proved to be a crucial three-point win (74-71) in securing No. 6 Seed in the RRAC Women's Basketball tournament. Beauvais posted 165 points, 94 rebounds, 21 blocks, and 27 steals.

UNT Dallas concluded the 2025-26 season with an 11-14 record and 10-12 RRAC mark. It's the most wins on a conference schedule and is the most wins overall since gaining that many in 2022-23. The team qualified for its highest tournament seed and reached its second postseason tournament since the first year eligible in 2021-22.
