DALLAS – UNT Dallas athletics begins its seventh year and sixth as a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The Trailblazers have featured many unique student-athletes over the years, and we are recognizing their success in the UNT Dallas Trailblazers Spotlight series.
 
DELYSSA MILLER (2021-22) spent one season with the Trailblazers women's basketball team. It was a significant year for the program, as it was the team's first season affiliated with NAIA and Sooner Athletic Conference.
 
A native of Arlington, Texas, Miller spent her senior year with the Trailblazers and remains the season record holder for rebounds-per-game with an 8.7 mark.
 
Across 15 games, Miller also led the team in scoring average with 15.5 points-per-game. She appeared in the second half of the season, scoring double figures in 13 games and grabbing a double-double in seven games.
 
Miller earned All-SAC Honorable Mention. She was also named to the SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
 
The Trailblazers won a program-best 12 games and reached the first round of the SAC Tournament that season.
