KEY STORYLINES
- Conference opener for both Mid-America Christian and UNT Dallas.
- UNT Dallas began the regular season with a 1-1 result at the Texas Wesleyan Classic last Friday. After dropping the opening-night result with a tough fourth quarter, the Trailblazers rallied to hold on to a 70-69 win over Oklahoma Wesleyan.
- Senior Skye Dugan (Richardson, Texas) is leading the Trailblazers in scoring with 42 points and is tied for second in rebounds with 15. Dugan is also tied for the team lead in assists and steals.   
- Sophomore De'Asia Johnson (Dallas, Texas) has scored 24 points with a pair of double-digit games. Senior Eryka Patton (Hutchins, Texas) scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for a season straight game in the team's triumph.  
- UNTD was picked 11th in the SAC Preseason Coaches Poll with 54 points.
- The Evangels were selected second with 127 points and one first-place vote in the SAC Preseason Coaches Poll. They were in the SAC Semifinals last season and dropped the opening round of the national tournament.
- MACU is off to a 4-0 start with all victories coming at home. Most recently, the Evangels won 95-88 over Mission and 76-66 over Cottey to sweep the MACU Classic.

- UNTD is 0-6 against Mid-America Christian.
- The most recent outing was an 97-74 loss at MACU on Feb. 17, 2024. Johnson had 14 points in that contest.
- The Trailblazers also fell 70-52 in Dallas.

- UNT Dallas rekindles its cross-town rivalry with Texas Wesleyan on the third game of this five-day stretch.
