- Previous meeting: UNT Dallas prevailed 48-43 at home. Sophomore Sanaa Murphy-Showers (Plano, Texas) tossed in eight points and tied a team-high six steals.
- UNTD swept the season series with a 61-47 with at Goodwell. Sophomore De'Asia Johnson and Murphy-Showers combined for 27 points with 14 and 13, respectively.
