- UNT Dallas plays its first countable regular season games at the Texas Wesleyan Classic.
- The Trailblazers are led by interim head coach Shelia Davis, who has been an assistant coach with the program since their inaugural season in 2020-21.
- Senior Skye Dugan (Richardson, Texas) scored double-digits in both exhibitions against NCAA Division I teams UT Arlington (14) and Texas A&M-Commerce (16).
- Senior Eryka Patton (Hutchins, Texas) recorded a double-double with team-highs 17 points and 10 rebounds against the Lions.

ABOUT THE OPPOSITION
- Friends University is 1-2 on the year coming off a pair of setbacks.
- The Falcons are led offensively by Lauryn Mcliver with 49 points.
- The Falcons are 1-0 all-time against UNTD with the only meeting on December 16, 2021.
- Oklahoma Wesleyan is 0-1 on the season with a loss to Dakota Wesleyan last Friday, 74-60.
- The Eagles were led by Haley Meely with 22 points. She also had five rebounds and three assists.
