KEY STORYLINES
- UNT Dallas returns home for second game of season.  
- UNTD enters with a 2-6 record and 1-5 record in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
- The Trailblazers went 1-3 on their recent road trip that included a 64-50 victory at Oklahoma Panhandle State. They fell 62-52 last week at Science and Arts.
- Senior Skye Dugan (Richardson, Texas) is leading the Trailblazers in scoring with 133 points and is averaging 16.6 points-per-game. She ranks fifth in the conference for points scored.    
- Eryka Patton (Hutchins, Texas) is the second Trailblazer to surpass triple-digits in points with 114 and is averaging double figures with 14.3 points per contest. She has made the most field goals on the team with 45. Patton is also averaging a double-double with 10.9 rebounds-per-game. Her 87 total boards rank fifth in the league.
- Langston entered the preseason poll with 120 points and one first place vote for third place. Langston fell in the 2023-24 league championship game to John Brown and were a first-round exit to Spring Arbor by three points in the national tournament.
- Langston heads into the matchup with an 8-1 record and 4-1 conference mark. The most recent triumph was an 82-76 win over No. 19 Mid-America Christian. The Lions are receiving votes in the national rankings in the latest poll.

- Both outings last season were by double-digits. Senior Mya Bills (Rockwall, Texas) scored 12 points in the home matchup last season.

- UNT Dallas will play its fifth away game out of the last six when it heads up for one-of-two games at Central Christian this season.
- Central Christian finished in 13th in the conference preseason with 18 points.  
- The Tigers are 2-8 on the season and 0-6 in conference play. Both wins on the season have been at home for a 2-5 mark.
- The Tigers fell 69-63 to Southwestern Christian last Saturday.

- UNT Dallas is 6-0 all-time against Central Christian.  
- Previous meeting: UNT Dallas won 73-47 at home. Bills had 11 points and sophomore Sanaa Murphy-Showers (Plano, Texas) neared a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds.   
- Sophomore De'Asia Johnson (Dallas, Texas) had a 12-point game at McPherson in an 89-62 win last season to lead returners. That game marked the highest total amount of points in a contest for UNTD in 2023-24 campaign.
