OPENING TIP
- UNT Dallas returns home for one game during six games spanning from January 9th through the 20th. The remaining five are on the road including two upcoming on this holiday weekend stint.
- The Trailblazers dropped three in a row after starting 2025 in the win column. Their latest setback was a 56-54 final at John Brown.
- Seniors Skye Dugan (Richardson, Texas) Eryka Patton (Hutchins, Texas) are UNTD's leading scorers with both over 200 points. The duo are the only players averaging double figures in scoring with 15.9 and 15.7 respective clips. Those marks rank top seven in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
- Patton is on an 11-game stretch scoring double figures. She had a season-high 27 points last Monday at Ellis Davis Field House. She leads the team and is tied fourth in the league in rebounding with 138.
- Dugan is atop the team assists (47) and steals (45) and checks in second in SAC for the latter category.
- UNTD opponents are turning the ball over at a higher clip this season with 305, while the Trailblazers have 280. They have swiped more steals with 152 compared to 133. This includes six of the past eight games in double-digits for steals and all four games since the turn of the calendar year.

SCOUTING THE EVANGELS
- No. 18 Mid-America Christian enters 14-2 overall and 10-2 in SAC play.
- The Evangels dropped their second game of the season and first at home last Saturday in an 83-81 thriller against No. 12 Wayland Baptist in a marquee matchup.
- They had won five straight prior to that matchup with the other a six-point loss at RV Langston.
- Keep an eye on Shy Christopher who ranks second in the conference with 17.9 points-per-game. Another top scorer averaging double-digits is Kylee Scheer with 12.6 ppg. Six players have eclipsed 100 points on the campaign and the team is averaging 76.19 points compared to 61.88 by the opposition.
- Harley Harbour ranks top seven in rebounding and is averaging 8.7 per contest to lead MACU.

PREVIOUS MEETING
- These teams opened conference play at Gaulke Activity Center in November.
- Mid-America Christian won 74-52. The Trailblazers outscored MACU 14-9 in the fourth quarter.
- Patton registered a double-double with 10 points and rebounds. Senior Mya Bills (Rockwall, Texas) also tossed in 10 points.
- MACU was led by Syncere Harrod with 19 points, while Scheer had 14 and Christoper posted 13.

SCOUTING THE STATS
- Oklahoma City won its previous outing, 74-66, at home versus Southwestern Christian.
- The Stars enter this week with a 6-11 record and 6-7 conference mark. They are 4-6 at home.
- OCU is at Nelson on Thursday before returning home to host the Trailblazers.
- Amaya Gordon leads the team with 15.5 points-per-game and is another top seven scorer in the conference. Also watch for Jerney Bennett with an 11.5-clip. The tandem also is top two in rebounding, eclipsing the century mark.

PREVIOUS MEETING
- Oklahoma City prevailed 68-59 at Ellis Davis Field House earlier this season.
- The November matchup had UNTD win the scoring edge in the first and third quarters, while OCU had a combined 15-point edge in the second and fourth quarters.
- Dugan did most of the scoring with a personal-best 29 points, which included four treys. Patton grabbed 10 rebounds, but it is one of the only single-digit games with five points.
- Gordon paced the Stars with 21 points and 10 boards, while Bennett added 13 points and nine boards. Jerzie Bryant had 14 points.

SCOUTING THE DROVERS
- Science and Arts enters 10-7 overall and 8-5 in conference play.
- The Drovers won last time out with an 80-57 win over Central Christian and have won three-of-five games this month. They are 8-3 at the friendly confines.
- They are at Southwestern Christian on Thursday. Two setbacks in 2025 have been to top teams in the NAIA and SAC, Mid-America Christian and Langston.
- Five players have eclipsed 100 points on the season, with Evangelia Davlakou leading the quintet with 208 points and 13.9 ppg. She is the only player averaging double-digits in conference play with a 13.7 mark. Hannah Harris leads the team on rebounds with 102.
- The team ranks third in the conference in defense with 59.4 points allowed per game.
 
USAO Season Stats
 
PREVIOUS MEETING
- These teams met earlier in the season at Drover Fieldhouse. Due to event conflicts, the teams agreed to play a second time in Oklahoma on Monday.
- Science and Arts won the first matchup, 62-52. It was a short bench for the Trailblazers with eight players playing and two not currently active. UNTD should have more depth since the start of the break.
- Dugan and Patton combined for 26 points and 16 rebounds as the top two players in those columns. Sophomores De'Asia Johnson and Sanaa Murphy-Showers (Dallas, Texas) each had nine points. Johnson snatched a personal-best six steals.
- Davalkou scored a game-high 22 points for the Drovers. Madison Hays added 10 boards.
