OPENING TIP
- UNT Dallas finishes a three-game road stint on Saturday, although it will be a quick trip down the highway to Nelson.
- The Trailblazers ended a five-game slide on Monday with a 76-66 victory at University of Science and Arts.
- Senior Mya Bills (Rockwall, Texas) headlined the win with a career-high 33 points, 12 field goals, and tied a single-game record seven made three-pointers.
 
PLAYERS TO WATCH/TEAM NOTES
-Senior Skye Dugan (Richardson, Texas) leads the team averaging 15.4 points-per-game and ranks eighth in the SAC. She also ranks second in the SAC with 54 steals.
- Senior Eryka Patton (Hutchins, Texas) is nearly averaging a double-double with 15.3 points and 9.2 rebounds. Patton is right behind Dugan in the conference rankings for scoring average and is tied fifth with 166 total boards.
- Bills and Sophomore De'Asia Johnson (Dallas, Texas) are the latest duo to eclipse triple-digits. Bills slots third on the team with 166 points and is averaging 9.2 ppg. She has a team-high 36 made triples. Dugan is the other UNTD player in double-digits for threes with 26. Johnson rounds out the top scoring quartet with 156 points.
- UNTD ranks third in the conference with 189 steals. The past seven contests have seen the Trailblazers commit fewer turnovers than their opposition.

SAC STANDINGS
- UNT Dallas and Nelson are tied in the conference standings with 4-12 records and each coming off a victory last Monday.
- Both teams need a winning streak and some help from the final spots as Oklahoma City holds the eighth spot and is .500 with an 8-8 mark.
A LOOK AT THE LIONS     
- Nelson enters with a 5-14 record and 4-12 conference mark.
- The Lions edged Texas Wesleyan at home on Monday with a 76-73 victory.
- The triumph snapped a six-game losing streak and was the first since UNTD and Nelson tangled at the end of 2024.
- Seven players share most of the scoring numbers with the group being in triple-digits. The highest scorer is Kate Miller with 189 points and 9.9 points-per-game. Miller is also the top rebounder with 98.
- Paris Miller is third on the team in scoring with 152 points and second in rebounds with 95. Look at Autumn Moore to be an impact scorer, as she averages 8.5 points. Wendy Clemmons rounds out the top trio on rebounds with 86 and leads the team in assists with 74 and steals with 29.

- Nelson prevailed 73-65, with a eight-point second half swing being the difference. Both teams had nine-point advantages in the first and second quarters to equal a tie.
- Dugan led the Trailblazers with 23 points and claimed a double-double with 10 rebounds. Johnson also had a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards. Patton tossed in 14 points.
- P. Miller led Nelson with 21 points, while K. Miller added a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards. Kyla McMinn chipped in 13 points.
