WINNING VIBES
- UNT Dallas women's basketball has won its last two games, the latest coming in a dramatic one-point, 78-77, final at Nelson last Saturday.
- The Trailblazers won consecutive games for the first time since the 2022-23 season, closing out their road trip with back-to-back victories.
- UNTD is 5-8 in games away from Ellis Davis Field House and look to bring this winning energy to the home confines.
 
RAINING 3'S
- UNT Dallas found its shooting touch from the three-point arc the past two games. Both contests saw the Trailblazers drilled season-highs from downtown, including their most recent setting a program record 13.
- A large contributor to the team's nine in the win at Science and Arts came from senior Mya Bills (Rockwall, Texas). Bills knocked down seven to match an individual record, which she also held previously. Bills finished with a career-high 33 points.
- The record-setting game for the team featured seven players making a three-pointer, led by sophomore De'Asia Johnson (Dallas, Texas) with a personal-best 4-of-5 game. This included her sinking the game-winning three at Nelson.
 
TEAM LEADERS
- Senior Eryka Patton (Hutchins, Texas) leads the team in scoring (293 points), scoring average (15.4), rebounds (176), rebounding average (9.3), and blocks (17).
- Senior Skye Dugan (Richardson, Texas) leads the team in steals (55) and assists (72). She is near the top in scoring with 275 points and 15.3 points-per-game.
- Johnson and Bills round out the top scoring quartet in triple-digits with 172 points apiece.

A LOOK AT WAYLAND
- The Flying Queens enter ranked No. 17 in the NAIA Top 25 poll.
- Wayland Baptist has won its past three games and enters 18-2 overall and 15-2 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
- Two of Wayland's defeats have been on the road.
- The Flying Queens edged Texas Wesleyan, 62-56, and Science and Arts, 85-78, on the road last week.
- Two players do the majority of scoring for Wayland Baptist, Megan Nestor and Kaitlyn Jerden. The lethal tandem averages a respective 18.5 and 15.3 ppg and eclipse 300 points with 675 combined. Eight players have scored at least 121 points on the campaign.

- These teams met in November at Plainview and Wayland Baptist commanded a 94-66 win. The first half was the difference, as UNTD was outscored by a point in the second half.
- Patton registered a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds.

- Dugan went 9-for-10 at the free throw line for most of her 12 points and swiped three steals.
- Nestor had 24 points and 13 boards for a double-double to lead Wayland Baptist.

SCOUTING THE AGGIES
- The Aggies are 1-19 overall and 1-16 in conference play.
- Oklahoma Panhandle State fell to Science and Arts, 74-39, and Texas Wesleyan, 65-45, last weekend at home.
- The Aggies are at Nelson on Thursday before completing the Dallas-Fort Worth swing up to Dallas on Saturday.
- three players lead the team in scoring with Lyric Carpenter having 141 points and averaging 7.1, while Zamari Reece has 115 total. Dian Santos rounds out the trio with 109 points and is the leading rebounder with 114.
- Reece and Santos lead the team in assists with nearly identical totals, 33 and 32.

EARLIER MATCHUP
- UNT Dallas won its first conference game at Anchor D Arena in November, 64-50. The second quarter was the difference with UNTD using a 25-14 edge to buoy the difference.
- It was an eight-player lineup, but the Trailblazers top scoring trio at the time all chipped in double-digit scoring efforts.
- Patton led with 19 points, while Johnson had 17 and the pair grabbed nine rebounds each.
- Dugan added 15 points.
- The team grabbed 50 boards.
- Carpenter was the top scorer for the Aggies with 13 points and tied a team-high six rebounds.
